In addition to the regular track, the students of the Minor Food Service of Zuyd University of Applied Sciences also participate in the Food Boost Challenge. In nine weeks ten tribes of five to six students worked out a concept that aims to seduce youth in Limburg to make a healthier choice more often. Students were inspired by 26 guest speakers, covering topics like entrepreneurship, product development and design.

Friday April 14th all tribes presented their final work at a Dragons Den in Teaching Hotel Maastricht. They described their concept, explained their business model and answered tough questions from ten dragons. Three tribes will join the finale together with the six teams that are participating in the regular Food Boost Challenge. All the finalists will be presented to you soon!
